Interesting project we carried out for Alison… When alison contacted us at IGR, she mentioned that she believes that the property needs a rewire after she was advised this by someone else.

On first visit to provide Alison with free no obligation quotation, the electrical installation doesnt seem in need of a rewire so we recommended to have Electrical Installation Condition Report carried out to start with. The EICR confirmed that the installation was fine but in need of couple of minor repairs and consumer unit upgrade. The work was completed over the course of couple of appointments to suit Alisons schedual.

We enjoyed helping Alex from the begining when we replaced halogen down lighters in the kitchen for the LED ones… Alex was concerned that the colour of the LED lights will not be what he is looking for, but after taking time making sure we knew what Alex was after we found just the lights…

Consumer unit upgrade, security light installation etc, Hale Barns

We had some work done last year…new ceiling lights, changing downstairs lighting to LED, external lighting and security lights installed, all done to our satisfaction, on time, left the place clean and tidy every time when they finished. Reasonable price too. We recently needed only a couple of sockets installed, no hassle, came on time and same professional approach. We’ll use them again.

IGR Electrical contracting and Lighting Designs.

I have had two lots of electrical work done now by IGR. The first was to provide the power to my TV which I had changed to being wall-mounted and the second was to test the electrical system in the house, make any adjustments needed to improve its safety and to fit a new consumer unit.
I am very happy with the work that was done and how it was undertaken. Peter from IGR kept in touch about the timing of the work, was completely prompt, hardworking and thorough in every way. The follow-up after the work was completed was similarly professional; I was provided with complete certification of the work and full and detailed invoices (slightly) below the original estimates.

Electrical installation by IGR for kitchen refurbishment in Wilmslow

IGR Electrical recently updated and first-fixed the wiring for our new kitchen. The work was of excellent quality throughout, delivered professionally, imaginatively, politely, on time and on budget. House Rewire and Consumer unit upgrade in Altrincham by IGR

Some time in March of 2014 we decided to remodel our bathroom.
Our bathroom was very old and cold. So as part of the job we needed to add electrical socket, warm floors and extractor fan, replace lights and wires.

Peter came to our house next day after we called him.
One week later he emailed a quote which we were glad to accept. In August when the work started it became clear that the wires in the house are so old that it requires a full replacement. We found online that old wires are the primary reason for fire; this is the last thing we need in our house.

Peter managed to work around our schedule and budget. In summer time when people are normally doing remodeling IGR was extremely busy and fully booked. Peter however did the job over weekends and evening. It was absolutely critical for us that the job is finished before school starts.

In the beginning of September we happily moved into our newly rewired house full of new lights and electrical sockets, with upgraded shiny warm-floored bathroom, new security system and modern electrical box. Our Electrical Installation Certificate as required by regulations arrived in the mail one month later.
